By accessing or using Freddys.io ("Service"), operated by Freddys.io ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Freddys.io is an AI-powered CV and cover letter generation platform. Users can store their professional profile information and use it to generate tailored CVs and cover letters for specific job applications. The Service is provided via a web application at freddys.io.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Freddys.io. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or obtain free credits.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Freddys.io offers the following plans:

• Free: 5 lifetime CV generations at no cost.
• Starter: $7.90/month — 20 CV generations per month.
• Pro: $14.90/month — 50 CV generations per month.
• Top-up: $4.90 one-time — 10 additional CV credits.

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscription plans are billed monthly and renew automatically.
• Monthly CV credits reset on your billing renewal date. Unused credits do not roll over.
• Top-up credits are non-expiring and non-refundable once used.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service and the immediate delivery of AI-generated content, all purchases are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using a paid feature, please contact us at support@freddys.io within 7 days and we will review your case on an individual basis.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Freddys.io to:

• Upload or submit false, fraudulent, or misleading professional information.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to generate CVs at scale or abuse the credit system.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the AI generation system.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful or abusive purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the professional information, work history, and other data you input into Freddys.io. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to use it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Our content: The Freddys.io platform, including its design, code, branding, and AI-generated output templates, is owned by Freddys.io and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

Generated documents: CVs and cover letters generated through the Service are yours to use freely for personal job application purposes.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Freddys.io uses artificial intelligence to generate CV and cover letter content. While we strive for quality and accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or suggestions that are not appropriate for every situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before submitting it to prospective employers. Freddys.io is not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated documents.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your specific requirements or result in employment outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Freddys.io and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Freddys.io in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
